Read this article about how Apple is rejecting applicants into the iPhone Developer Program. Then read this little bit of fucking tripe:
TUAW reader UO perfectly summarizes the dilemma: "I got a rejection this morning too. What if I never get accepted? Spending that much time (until June?) working on code I may never be able to ship is an unacceptable risk right now."<

What did Apple tell them?
Dear Registered iPhone Developer, Thank you for expressing interest in the iPhone Developer Program. We have received your enrollment request. As this time, the iPhone Developer Program is available to a limited number of developers and we plan to expand during the beta period. We will contact you again regarding your enrollment status at the appropriate time. Thank you for applying. Best regards, iPhone Developer ProgramSo in other words, they're going to keep the beta program small, and gradually grow it as June approaches. mj had it perfect: Chill the Fuck Out
That's how well-run beta programs go. You start small, because you need to keep the S/N ratio to proper levels. Then over time, you expand in a controlled manner.
So Don Pardo, what do we have as a parting gift for TUAW reader UO?
While mj was right, and entitlement tears are more annoying than crocodile tears, they looks so pretty as the fly off the face of the fucknut who was crying them after they get a good smackin'
Remember, unless you have an email from Apple that says "LOL! YR APP IZ TEH SUXX0R, CERT D3NI3D! LUS3R!", it's not personal.
Chill the Fuck Out.
